that is an advantage and a disadvantage of me. i will shoot everything straight at you with honest words from within. you may get offended. however, if only you would just think about what i had said, you will realise that it's true. although sometimes i say the wrong things, but words from anyone matters. just reflect upon them and try to get the message out of them, be it if they are by accident or on purpose.

accept any criticism from anyone, and thank the person, no matter if you like him/her or not. whatever people say or tell you, take them in and think, reflect. you will somehow understand more about the person, or even yourself more. you will never know what is happening to yourself without the help of another person.
TIP: never take criticism as a bad thing. be like William Hung (for this); accept criticism with gratitude. they may and will make you a better person, you will never know.

nobody is perfect, remember this.

i know my circle.
i differentiate family, friends, and strangers. i will always love my family no matter what happens. my family, is my family for life. i cannot be seperated from them. even if i found another loving family, they are not of my real blood. i express my love in various ways. from actions, to words, and to mental expressions.
i will love my friends no matter what happens, as well. i will not love you, not even like you, only if you did something really wrong to hurt me and everyone around. i express love in two ways; physically and verbally, as we are, in fact, only friends. i treat best/close friends differently from how i do to friends. things are obvious to whether you're my goodie-good friend or not.
im specially very blunt towards my real friends. i tell them their bad points straight in the face, and request them to reflect and change. i'd give them their comments on me as well, so that i can change in anyway to compromise. all that i do are for our friendship, and there was never once i thought of making our relationship turn sour. im trying to make it stronger. being frank with each other will enable us to know one another better and our trust may also be more stable. things may go abit awkward during the thrashings. however, everything will go well if all of us are thinking with the same mindset: these are words of comments on how i can change myself, or to change my friends to make our bonds stronger. it all may be hurting in the beginning, but as people say; no pain, no gain.
whenever i confide in someone, that shows that my trust for you is there. so dont disappoint me by spreading it around when i told you not to. if you are not sure if you are supposed to expose it, ask. im not the kind of person who will tell someone "trust me, you can trust me. im a trustworthy person." no. it all depends on you whether you want to trust me or not. however, i can tell you, nothing will slip out of my mouth when you tell me to seal it.
TIP: love your family. cherish your friends. make every effort to strengthen (all) your relationships. do not do them at the last minute when it's out of hands.

i dont like people who betray.
i wont be angry. i would be disappointed to have confided in such a friend person, very disappointed in you, and myself. plus, you will lose my trust after that.
TIP: be trustworthy, be someone whom people will trust, rely and be comfortable with.

i dont hate.
when you hate, it means that you are envious and jealous of the person. when you start hating the person, for all you know, you will slowly start to act, talk, walk, become like that person.
TIP: dont hate. once you hate, your life is hell.

EVERYTHING IS MIND OVER MATTER.
you control yourself, not others. you control your own emotions, not others. you control your own destiny, not others. if you are someone who is sad because your friend is sad, sad to say, you are mindless; you dont have a strong mind, strong enough to tell yourself to be happy. you can sit by your friend and cry by his/her side, but do not feel depressed about it. comfort your friend with a positive mind and encourage him/her. by going along with the flow, you are not making the situation any better. it is best for you to advise and encourage your friend to become a stronger and better person.
in another words, DONT be like Singapore, so vulnerable to external events :)
TIP: look into the mirror every morning during your wash-up. smile to yourself and tell yourself, "today's a beautiful day. im going to be happy." it works. the truth is, the moment you smile to yourself in the mirror, you are already making yourself happy. start your day off with a smile! :D

my results shocked the hell out of me.
i got 3 Cs. wtfreak.
English. a C5 when its supposed to be A1.
Chinese. a C6 when its supposed to be B4. (who cares btw)
E Math. an A1. (good enough)
A Math. a B4 when its supposed to be A1.
Chemistry. a C5 when its supposed to be A1.
Physics. a F9 when its supposed to be B3.

yes, the whole class failed Physics. interesting. and the highest is only a 45 upon a hundred marks. across the whole cohord the highest is only a B3. how pathetic! i feel very bad for Mr Chin. i did study, but i guess it was meant to be this way, cos Mr Chin already warned us about the paper being really difficult.

i am rather disappointed at my A Math and Chem instead. i cant forgive myself for that. a C for Chemistry! what the hell! it's time for me to buck up already.

you people may have guessed what i am going talk about, or maybe not. but anyway, i had just been noticing this country's citizens recently due to my increased amount of time travelling back and forth from town to home for my appointments (garrh).


let's start from the MRT.

"Please stand behind the yellow line." and dont tell me that those people are what, cock-eyed? during the recent years, the yellow lines of the arrows were pathetically drawn for stubborn people who just won't give way to alighting passengers. now, they still think it's not enough? it is always the usual places; Jurong East, Outram Park, Raffles Place, City Hall etc. i dont like to see the scene (at underground platforms) where people just stand right in front of the sliding door, some even with their palms pressing on it. what the hell, it's like they will die if they cannot get into the train first, or like as if they will win a grand prize if they do. i noticed it's the Uncles in their lates who perform this act.
everytime, i will be the good Singapore citizen who will stand behind the yellow lines allowing space for the alighting passengers. what do i get in the end? it's either i have to squeeze my way in, fighting with all the ah-mas and big-sized aunties, or i'll just take the next train (rather seldom).

i dont mind people sitting on the floor, chatting with each other, as long as they have the consideration to stand up to let the people alight and board when the train gets packed. however, there are just some stupid dumbasses who refuse to move their big arses. especially Malays, i've noticed. they will just treat that area like it's their territory; laugh their heads off, talking very loudly and all that bullshit. don't they just feel embarassed with the whole cabin literally staring at them? this is tolerable though.
what isn't tolerable (to me), are the people who blast music with either their cellphones or their portable music players or something. like "hello?" do you own this MRT cabin? they will always blast heavy-metal songs or those modern ones until it can echo within the cabin.

i know you just want to show off your new Sony Ericsson Walkman stereo phone,
but please, in another way.

and it's usually Malays as well! what's their effing problem. can't get enough of blasting music? i'll go to your house, install the uber powerful amplifiers, glue them to each of your ears, blast the music volume 100 and see if you will kneel before me for forgiveness. even if you do, i dont think you'll even hear me saying "oh it's alright." HAH.

"Dear passengers, for the convenience of our own passengers, please move towards the center of the car." nobody in the cabin heeds to this request. NOBODY. i was pathetically squeezed, dying of suffocation at the packed area near the door, when i can see the center of the cabin being so obviously EMPTY. when i managed to squeeze through and stand in the center of the cabin, those people that i walked past literally glared at me.

What? Did i step on your big-ass foot?

no. they just find me irritating because i squeezed past them. Hey, i said EXCUSE ME okay. not like you people just gong-gong standing down there not allowing anymore passengers to board the train. i am the considerate one who is providing more space for you to squeeze, happy? still glare at me. at least i could get fresher air there, unlike you others just linger there to suffer the stench of different odours. sad case.
how thick can you people get?

do you give up seats for ones who need it more than you? i do, whenever im awake, that is. haha. but anyway, just came across a few inconsiderate acts on this part. i won't want to elaborate on this part, because it's so common. alrighty, let's take one scene that i talked about in one of my blog posts last year. i was on the train, and this pregnant lady boarded the train at Commonwealth if im not wrong. it was just that moment that i woke up from my short slumber *yawn* then i looked up and saw the lady. her face was damn pale, and from her sniffing and all, you will surely have known that she's caught a bad flu. to prevent myself from getting back to sleep again, i offered her the seat. the lady kindly refused with a thanks and offered it back to me. since we were already at Bouna Vista (with a packed cabin), i insisted her to take a seat giving the excuse that i would be alighting soon. she still kindly refused, so i just smiled and continue standing. oh, then what happened? an auntie squeezed through the crowd and landed her butt on my ex-seat. then she looked up at and and, smiled.

i was like, "what the hell?! still dare to smile at me!"

her smile is those kind of silly smile that a little boy would give when you finally gave him an ice-cream after he threw a big tantrum.

at that moment of time i almost blurted out "eh auntie, the seat was meant
for her, not YOU. get lost!" in Chinese.

im glad i didnt. hahaha.

i just dont know what's up with those aunties and uncles. they look healthy enough to stand properly, unlike the sick and pregnant lady! what, they expect that they should get the seat just because they are older than the lady? nuh-uh.


let's touch upon BUSES now.

do you like people taking up two seats? no, i dont. especially those aunties that 'cannot put their groceries on the floor', then put on the seat beside them, making it wet and 'un-seatable' for the next passengers. there was once when i board the bus, which was already rather empty, i headed for my 'usual seat' until i was digusted by what laid on it. i had, and still have no idea what was it; it was bloody red, jelly-like, with a puddle of red liquid surrounding it. it may be some auntie who put her plastic bag of fishes there and it leaked, or.. i dont know! garrh, thinking of it makes me go "eeew". there was another time when i was already in the bus and this auntie came on board. she was holding only two plastic bags of groceries like dry vegetables and maybe some canned stuff and bottles of drinks. she happily sat beside me and also happily settled her groceries on the seat next to her. okay, that was one. after that, she moved her big fat arse towards me! i was really like "omg, what the hell is she doing?!" it's like she's sitting in a slanted manner, leaning towards her groceries. she's apparently occupying two-and-a-half seats LAH! what the hell. luckily the bus was rather empty as well, then i switched to the seat next to me.
RARRH, i can't stand these people.

i dont mind fat people occupying two seats but people, next time if you carry groceries and you want a seat, put them on your lap or on the floor. thank you.

im not saying im a totally good Singapore citizen or what. im emphasizing on how considerate and thoughtful most Singaporeans can get. i should be general or else later some auntie may happen to somehow blog-hop to this blog and flame me, i dont know. it may happen! anyway, i specified them up there already.


and one word to describe whatever i had touched upon.
inconsiderate.

i suck at Physics and i dont really like it though. but why, it's Science! the subjects that im strong in are these two. and Physics is going to be my last paper on Wednesday. AND, we 7-subjects students can enjoy a 2-and-a-half days' holiday! no school on Thursday, wooot. it's for Biology and POA students only. hehehe. whatever it is, all the best! :)

2006 Mid-Year Examinations are here. and i just came home from the library, from practising the past year papers for E Math (2004) and Chemistry. to think that i merely managed to finish Paper 1 for both of them. BWAH. i completed the whole of 2005 E Math paper though; yaye. i seem to isolate myself from everyone once i start studying or revising. wow, i should keep that up :)

just finished watching Superband. SOUL, MILO-BING, and JUZ-B are my loves! :D jiayou. Superband is very nice to follow up, unlike Project Superstar and Campus. yup. it takes groupwork to become a good band. SOUL my most fave; THEY DANCE! wooots.

i just realised i haven't finish a Math paper yet, when there are two to complete. *gasp* rushing through now. bwah! hate it. i literally forgot all about inverse variations and the gradient stuff. oooft, im dying.
