teenagers, yeah.hmm, ive browsed through friendster recently and realised something really common among most of the teenage girls nowadays. err, eyeliners? big eyes? taking photos with the camera right above their heads and stare into the camera lens with damn biggy big eyes. and their smiles, oh well, to put in an awful way,
fake? yup, that's what i think.
its really ok to be in love of taking photos of ourselves cos i do too. but, i think some of the girls, even guys, are
over-doing it. some photos are edited, with Microsoft Paint till it looks like, eww. worse still, the photos are also accompanied with the
Net-Moron language. oh well, some simple examples of exaggerated facial expressions can be found easily on friendster even by random, like what i did.
first, lets welcome..
the 'wonder'ful eyesexplanation: eyelined-eyes, big eyes, opened widely staring into the camera
innocently. no photos put up in case of offending anyone =x
and next,
the pouting mouths
so you guys get what i mean? you can actually see that they look much fatter in the photos when they do such mouth expressions..
that gave me a conclusion for those girls:
eyeliner + big eyes + pouts + camera = CUTE!yeah. and from all the photos i took from, the girls are attached. obviously, i went to browse their boyfriends' profiles. true enough, those guys were either pierced in the lips, tongue, ear-top or have gold hair with super-funky hairstyles. woohoo, those guys are like,
shoo shuaiix worxx!Net-Morons can be divided into groups. we have the most famous one which is the
StIcKy CaPs, then comes the
aH-li3N LaN9uA93, and also not forgetting the
axxe&zzees,
doubblleess, and lastly,
tHe cutiiexx!
StIcKy CaPsim pretty sure you are quite familiar or you were maybe, also, once addicted to
StIcKy CaPs. oh well, these kind of stuff appear on MSN and IRCs really often nowadays. i guess those people are still new to the computer keyboard that's why they want to keep trying out the 'Shift' key i think? yeah, maybe. read the following:
hElloS! hOw arE yOu lE?
mE quItE fiNe loRs.. ExAms comE le wOr..
yA loR.. so StReSs hOrH...
hAhaAh.. tHEn nEveR go oUt arR? sO siAnZ...
OkAy lAh.. yOu Go bUsY lor.. bYeByE!
okay, in fact i need to read really slowly to get the real message out. sticky
caps are not that bad though, at least we can read them but they are just
deifinitely not pleasing to the eyes. i rank them not-quite-serious
(1/10).
aH-li3N LaN9uA93
oh dear. what do you think of when you see the heading? can you read it? anyway, its Ah-Lien Language. you pronounce Ah-Lien as the normal Ah-Lian or Alien, its up to you. this is some language that one replaces the english alphabets with numbers or symbols or both. some of these people can be so creative that the alphabets can become like this:
1 = i, L
2 = Z
3 = E
4 = A
5 = S
6 = b
7 = T, L
8 = B
9 = G
0 = o, O
and so on... so, something like this appears:
s0 y0u t0d4y r3ally n0t 901n 0ut?
yeah, these are rare nowadays though.
i rank this
serious as it can spoil our eyesight (8/10).
axxe&zzeesoh wellz! you guyz muz be really familiar with these funky stuffx! this is like so super coolx, lor! you see MSN nicknames out there go
weijian ish sho shuaiix de worrxx!,
junyang is my only onezz nehx! and so on also... okay, i think these people are sleepy, dont you think so too? if not, why do they go
zZzz? i wonder if they really pronounce them with the presence of all the Z's and X's. somehow, it seems so cool to them that they use it on almost evey word they type. its the
least serious though (1/10).
doubblleessokii! now let us talkk about the trendiiest and coolestt languangee in town! yeahh, none otherr thann the
doubblleess! okay enough with that. here's an activity, browse through any of your friends' profiles. within one profile, there will be at least 1 testimonial full with
doubble-iish language. what is this? this language is the presence of double letters appearing in a word, which enlongates the word and make us drag the word while trying to read or pronounce the word. its like as if the person has to get a new set of computer keyboard, cos they have double letters appearing whenever they type.
shoo longg neberr see yoo lerrs.
yoo doingg well marhhx?
ii miss euu alottxx worr.
mux takecaiire lottss okii!
muackiieez horhh.. lurrvee yoo lotss.
you can realise that now, most of the girls are smsing this way. oh gosh, i wonder if they use T9 dictionary or manual sms typing. if they use the T9, i wonder how long will they take just to enter all those funny words inside it. and if they used manual typing, that will be tiring for their fingers i guess.. however, they dont feel so, huh? this is rated (6/10).
tHe cutiiexxoh well, you've seen all those funny languages. what happens when all are
combined together? WOW! hahah, yeah. let's think. actually, modern net-morons are starting to use
tHe cutiiexx style recently already, in which you can see all over friendster pages or even MSN nicknames and chats. this is the combination of all net-moron languages and other singaporean styles of talking. this is how i usually respond to net-moronic strangers who added me for nothing on MSN. take it that the stranger is loverboii. let's take a look:
loverboii:
elLo~! muii nAmE iish --- cAn iNtRo mAhhx?
me:
uh.hi.im fiona.why did u add me?
loverboii:
wAnNa makE morre fRiienZ kekEx.. euU fRm wAd sch deR?
me:
oh ic.ctss.
loverboii:
CtSs? wAds iziit? at wheRe dE?..
me:
*closes chat*
okay, thats just a simple example which did happen to me before. i was totally freaked out when i saw the way he typed. sometimes im afraid that they are possessed by female spirits which are making use of them to type in girlish languages.
UGH. you guys noticed something funny about the languages that the teenagers use nowadays? where, you know, the V's are replaced by the B's and E's are becoming I's, even the way of saying 'haha' and 'hehe' had changed:
me = miie, mi, mii, miiex
you = euu, yoo
hehe = keke, kekez, kekex
haha = wakakas, bwahahs, mwaharhs
muacks = muackiies, mwakiex, smuackx
i miss u = iimishhyoo, iimiisseuu
love = lurbb, lurrvee, lubbiiex
give = gibb
lol = lollxx, laff oud loudz
and so on and so forth...
i rank this language
quite serious (8/10).
actually, the worst ranking, which is obviously (10/10), are the
biggy-big emotions that appear on MSN chat windows. those emotions which replaces the english words or even alphabets, like the big animated question and exclaimation marks. now that, can really spoil our eyes. x(
i had enough of blogging these stuff. wow, and i took 2 hours for this shit lol. i guess i am too bored to the core today! hahah. imma be
sleeping tonight man! finally its
exam period and there will be
NO homework. i'll sleep, and sleep, and sleep, and
SLEEP! =) okay, that shall be the end for today.
GOODNIGHT! byebye.
FIOZO SAYS SO.
